England In The Time Of Shakespeare

The BBC have produced a series of brief radio programmes drawing together a range of objects from the British Museum, and analysing their relevance to the world of William Shakespeare.

This is essential listening for anyone studying Shakespeare at any level, from Year 7 to Year 13. The link to the homepage is here, whilst, for those of you studying Romeo and Juliet in particular, there is a programme on violence and swordplay, which illustrates the background to the Montague and Capulet feud.
