This is just a reminder that the timetable you were given states that during half-term “data collection should be at least well underway” and that before half-term you should have decided your topic and methodology and had it agreed.
Some of you have made excellent progress, but I am conscious that there are others from whom I’ve heard very little, and some of you may well be behind schedule. Can I remind you that it’s your job to pursue your coursework. If you have posted something to your blog and need a response, you may need to give me a prompt.
Don’t bury your head in the sand: if you have any problems, please let me know.
And can I suggest that you have a go at drafting the introduction section to your investigation? Even if it ends up changing significantly, it’s a good way of forcing yourself to clarify exactly what the nature and purpose of your investigation is.
How exactly are we supposed to set out our introduction? What kind of things do we need to include?
See page 22 of the guidance booklet.I have also added an ‘example investigations’ page to this blog, and there are more examples (both good and not-so-good) on Frog.
thank youu
You're welcome 🙂
