Y13 people: I have uploaded that PowerPoint presentation on the curry question to the ENB6-Language Change page, as requested (with thanks to its creator from the EnglishLanguageList)

It would be worthwhile having a listen to Radio 4’s ‘Word of Mouth’ programme – http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/wordofmouth.shtml
It’s always worth a listen, actually: exactly the sort of thing that can provide the up-to-date ideas and examples that examiners love.

Y12 Lang group (most of you, anyway): don’t forget I need that work on language and occupation that I should have had during the holidays. Make sure that you have actually done what the instructions required. Look again at the aims at the beginning of the instructions and make sure you’ve met those aims. You also need to do the ENB1 paper you were given. Look at the exemplars you were given, but remember you need to use different groupings for Q1, and at least one text for Q2 that doesn’t appear in any of those exemplars. Those of you who were not there on Monday can find those exemplar answers here.
